Like every year, this year too, the picturesque mountain village of Karya in Argolida (also known as Kolokotronitsi from the homonymous TV series) is hosting a rich festival with various events.


The festival will last from August 9 to 28, offering cultural activities for all tastes.
Parallel activities

Climb to the top of Mount Artemision during the full moon.

Workshops for learning traditional instruments.

Group exhibition of painting, installation and weaving at the old elementary school of Karya.

Musical and artistic performances

August 12: Manolis Kontaros in a musical evening.

August 14: Traditional feast with a folk orchestra.

August 18: Concert with the "Eternals".

August 20: Concert with Violeta Ikari, Anastasia Fergadioti and Thodori Kotonia.

August 25: Theatrical performance.

August 28: Dance events with clubs.

Organization
The festival is organized by the Cultural and Beautification Association of Karyotes and Friends of Karya "To Artemisio", with co-organizers the Peloponnese Region and the Municipality of Argos - Mycenae.

A large participation from the audience is expected, as the festival combines tradition, culture and natural beauty in a unique experience.
