Program of festive events for the anniversary of the Fall of Palamidi in Nafplio
Anniversary Events will be held for the 203rd Anniversary of the Fall of the Palamidi Fortress and the Liberation of the City of Nafplio.

7:00 PM, Vouletiko Anniversary event co-organized with the Progressive Association of Nafplio “O PALAMIDIS” with the ERT Musical Ensemble and the participation of Theodoros (Theo) Papaioannou

7:00 PM, Vouletiko Anniversary event co-organized with the Progressive Association of Nafplio “O PALAMIDIS” with a speech by the philologist and General Secretary of the Writers and Literary Unions of Argolida, Mr. Cleo Karagiannopoulou. Awards will follow for distinguished high school students of the Municipality of Nafplio.
The event will be accompanied by the Nafplio Polyphonic Choir, conducted by Theodosis Antoniadi

10:00 a.m. Reception from the city's City Hall and transfer to the Fortress of the Portrait of the conqueror Staikos Staikopoulos by the Honorary Procession, with the participation of the Association "Armed Moraites - Staikos Staikopoulos" and the Municipal Philharmonic.
11:00 a.m. Official doxology in the holy church of Agios Andreas (within the fortress of Palamidi), officiated by His Eminence Metropolitan of Argolis, Mr. Nektarios.
Recitation of the day's solemn sermon by the Doctor of History, Mr. Tasos Hatzianastasiou (In case of bad weather, the doxology will be held at the Church of St. Nicholas).
12.00 Memorial prayer and laying of wreaths at the Statue of the Conqueror Staikos Staikopoulos.
19.00, Vouletiko Anniversary event entitled “From Palamides to Staikopoulos.
Hellenism touches Nafplio”, under the artistic direction of Mr. Tassos Nousias
